redisc

create redis clients with connection strings

usage

var redisc = require('redisc')

redisc('redis://localhost/0')
// => redis client

redisc('redis://authkey@localhost/1')
// => authenticated redis client

api

redisc(connStr: String) =>RedisClient

Returns an initialized RedisClient, using the npm [redis](https://npmjs.org/package/redis) module

redisc.parse(connStr: String) => Object

Returns an object with the various redis connection properties:

  auth: String?,
  host: String, // default 'localhost'
  port: Number, // default 6397
  db: Number    // default 0
}

installation

$ npm install redisc

running the tests

From package root:

$ npm install
$ npm test
