php-proxy-middleware

Node middleware that forwards requests to a built-in PHP server. Uses proxy-middleware and php-built-in-server under the hood.

Usage

var express = require('express');
var php = require('php-proxy-middleware');
 
var app = express();
 
// add routes to be handled by express here
// ...
 
// forward all other requests to the php server
app.use(php(__dirname + '/php'));

Route forwarding

You can also selectively forward a single route:

app.use('/api', php(__dirname + '/php'));

Requests to /api/foo.php for example will be proxied to http://localhost:####/foo.php

If you want the PHP server to see the original URL (starting with /api) you can specify a URL prefix:

app.use('/api', php({
  root: __dirname + '/php',
  prefix: '/api'
}));
