CLI for starting a new npm package.

☁️ Installation

You can install the package globally and use it as command line tool:

# Using npm 
npm install --global np-init-cli
 
# Using yarn 
yarn global add np-init-cli

💡 ProTip: If you want to use this package as module, check out np-init—the API version of it.

Then, run np-init --help and see what the CLI tool can do.

$ np-init --help
Usage: np-init <name> <description> [options]

CLI for starting a new npm package.

Command arguments:
  <name>         The package name.
  <description>  The package description.

Options:
  -t, --template <template>  Set the template.
  -f, --folder <path>        The package folder path.
  -c, --cli                  Pass this option if you are creating a cli package.
  -h, --help                 Displays this help.
  -v, --version              Displays version information.
