CLI tool to update your images on your kubernetes deployments
Install
npm i -g kubeploy
Dependency
- Docker
- Kubectl(need to be configured for your cluster)
- gcloud logged in and API cloud activated(If you want to use the cloud feature)
Help
Usage: [options] [command]
Options:
-h, --help output usage information
Commands:
deploy <deployment> <registry> <image> Deploy your image updated to the deployment in your cluster and update it
update-image [options] <registry> <image> <path> Update and push your image to your registry
cloud [options] <registry> <image> <path> Update and push your image to your registry using Cloud build from google cloud plateform
Example
Without Cloud Build
kubeploy update-image gcr.io/test-test server_image . && kubeploy deploy server_app gcr.io/test-test server_image
Is the same as
kubeploy update-image gcr.io/test-test server_image . -d server_app
Update your image(name server_image) push it on your registry and update the deployment(name server_app) on your kubernetes cluster.
With Cloud Build
kubeploy cloud -t v1 gcr.io/test-test server_image . -d server_app
