ko-dxt-to-png

Knight Online DXT2PNG Converter

This application will transform your texture files (.dxt) to modern png files.

Install

• install node.js
• type in terminal npm i ko-dxt-to-png -g

Usage

• type in terminal dxt2png file.dxt
• there will be file.png

Tips

You may change the output with -o or --output

dxt2png -o ./test.png file.dxt

You can convert all .dxt files in cwd by using -d or --directory

cd ./some_folder_has_tons_of_dxts
dxt2png -d

It will only work with cwd, I thought this will be safer, and .pngs wont be replicated if they already exist

Preview

added in 1.3.0

To preview a file simply use -v parameter. This will create png file in tmp folder, and open it in picture viewer tool. after 1 second it will wipe the temp file.

dxt2png -v file.dxt
or
dxt2png file.dxt -v
