Homebridge Air Conditioner with ANAVI Infrared
Homebridge plugin that uses ANAVI Infrared to drive a “dumb” air conditioner with a unidirectional remote with power, up, and down commands.
The plugin was designed and tested on Raspberry Pi Zero W.
Prerequisites
- Enable I2C.
- Enable LIRC module overlay.
- Update
/etc/lirc/lirc_options.conf
and/etc/lirc/hardware.conf
for the hardware. - Reboot.
- Install packages. For Raspbian Stretch:
# apt install nodejs-legacy npm lirc i2c-tools libavahi-compat-libdnssd-dev
- Create LIRC configuration.
- Install Homebridge.

Update your configuration to include a aircon-ir-remote
