crob

🎉 Easily open chromium browser in linux via command line and more.

Install

• Ensure you've Node.js version >= 4 installed. Then run the following:

$ npm install --global crob

OR

$ sudo npm install --global crob

Usage

$ crob --h or --help

 Usage:
    ⚬ crob                 ➠  open chromium browser
    ⚬ crob /path/to/file   ➠  open file under chromium
    ⚬ crob -s sitename     ➠  open any website

 Open Multiple Sites:
    ⚬ crob -s google.com facebook.com twitter.com

Why to crob ?

PROBLEM :

• If you execute chromium-browser from command line, the tab needs to be opened because of running process. So, you need to switch to some other tab if you want to execute other commands, which probably is a waste of time.

SOLUTION :

• Work on the same tab from where you launched crob.

• Save yourself from messages which are shown while running chromium-browser from console.

LITTLE MORE :

• Open Chromium Browser in background.

• Opens new browser window everytime if you run crob
