Check-APIs is a program to check if APIs still work and how they output.

npm i -g check-apis

NPM Version

Documentation

Install with:

npm install -g check-apis npm i -g check-apis

Run it with terminal by using one of the commands below:

api or apis apicheck or api-check apichecker or api-checker checkapis or check-apis checkapi or check-api

All of the following above work as the main command instead of api.

Commands

api

  • Shows the logo, version, who made it and a few useful commands.

api v or api version

  • Shows the version of the CLI tool.

api u or api update

  • Updates the CLI tool to the latest version using NPM.

api npm

  • Sends you to the NPM page of checkapis.

api c, api call or api check

  • Shows an API's output and if it works or not.
  • Needs <url> as a perameter.
  • Doesn't work with API's that need 0Auth or API keys.
  • Works with API's that use (/) slashes for extra perameters but not that use query strings (?hi&hello).

Quote
"A great programmer thinks about the program on a constant basis, whether driving or eating.
That method takes an incredible amount of mental energy."
-- Bill Gates --
