Redfig Utilities

Information

• Store related functions in a file inside of /src/lib
• Add those changes via direct export in src/index.ts
  • For example:

  // This will export all functions exported in newModule.ts for access from
  export * from "./lib/newModule.ts"

How to maintain

1. Make your changes to the existing or new module (see above for export information)
2. Modify the version in the package.json (i.e. 1.0.6 -> 1.0.7)
3. Run npm run bd:npm to build and publish

• Alternatively, run npm run build and/or npm publish --access public
• *Note you will need to be logged in to your npm CLI with your npm username (this username must also have been added to @redfig/open organization on https://npmjs.com)
  • to do this npm login [e-mail]
  • it will give you a link to click on that will open the browser
  • Once you login via browser, a message saying Logged in on https://registry.npmjs.org/. will appear
  • To double check, npm run whoami

5. In your consuming project (i.e. redfig-bhub/workflow) run npm update @redfig-open/redfig-utils to update your downloaded version of the redfig utilities
