It is possible to annotate a query for tracing and telemetry purposes:

const result = connection.any(sql`
  /*name=my-query-name*/
  SELECT id, name FROM users
  ORDER BY id
`);

Keep in mind, there should be no whitespace present /*name=<identity>*/. identity can have: a-z, A-Z, 0-9, -_
