retriable-download

Downloads a given uri to a temp file.

Purpose

Downloads to a temp file and retries on (potentially) transient errors.

Usage

const dl = require('retriable-download');
const retries = 3;
dl('http://path/to/file', retries).then((filename) => {
  console.log('saved to', filename);
});

API

• retries - an integer number of retries to attempt (default = 3)
• requestOptions - options provided to request module (used under the hood)

module.exports(uri, retries, requestOptions);
