Examples

$ mktempdb

delete temp databases:

$ psql -At -c "SELECT datname FROM pg_database WHERE datname LIKE 'tmp_%'" | xargs -L 1 dropdb

delete temp databases created more than 5 minutes ago:

$ psql -At -c "SELECT datname FROM pg_database
