Simple percentage calculations.

Installation

Standalone:

<script src="dist/percentage-calc.js"></script>

NPM:

$ npm install percentage-calc

Component:

$ component install abpetkov/percentage-calc

Bower:

$ bower install percentage-calc

Usage

If you're using Node.js or Component, include the script like so:

var percentage = require('percentage-calc');

Otherwise, continue with the examples.

Examples

If you want to calculate how much is a percent of a number, ex. 20% of 100, use the of method:

percentage.of(20, 100); // will return 20

If you'd like to know what percent of a number is another number, ex. 30 is what percent of 100, use the from method:

percentage.from(30, 100); // will return 30
