after each learn and restore, the scheduler can only schedule one printer at a time. it will sort the objects by decreasing z coordinate. it will choose the best object first for printing. gcagarwalphysicsepub will first restore the gcp of all of its own printed objects. then it will learn the rest of the gcp for all of the other printed objects. it does not need to learn the gcp for its own printed objects.
all of the printing functions can only return true if the printing is successful, while all of the function returns false if there is an error. the solver can only prints a few objects at one time. therefore, the printshape function can be used to print out the outline of the shape to make sure that the shape can be printed. otherwise, the printer will not print that shape.
for the printfunc, printgetx, and printgety functions, the printer can only print the objects in a rectangular area (the size of the object minus the granularity value). these functions print a total distance of objects along the z-axis. for the printgetz function, the printer can print as much z as it can. for the printshape function, the printer can print a grid or blank line of objects according to the size of the outline. the printruler function is used to print a ruler at the bottom of the printer. 84d34552a1
