front-setup

Front-Setup is a CLI to easily setup frontend projects, including Tailwind CSS (if needed), test framework, and end-to-end tests.

Installation

To use Front-Setup, you need to install it globally

  npm install -g front-setup

Usage

Once installed, you can create a new project by running the following command:

  front-setup

Follow the prompts to choose the configuration options for your project. Once the choices are made, Front-Setup will create the project folder structure with appropriate files and dependencies.

Configuration Options

Front-Setup offers the following options when creating a project:

  • Projet name: The name of your project.
  • Select language: The language for development: JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Select framework: The frontend framework: React.
  • Would you like to include Tailwind CSS in your project?: Optionally include Tailwind CSS in your project.
  • Choose test framework: The test framework: Jest or Vitest.
  • Choose the end-to-end test framework: The framework for end-to-end tests: Cypress or Playwright.
