canonicalize-iban

canonicalize-iban transforms formatted IBANs into a canonical format.

Installation

$ npm install canonicalize-iban

Quick start

First you need to add a reference to canonicalize-iban in your application.

var canonicalizeIban = require('canonicalize-iban');

To canonicalize an IBAN call canonicalizeIban and provide the custom-formatted IBAN.

console.log(canonicalizeIban('de78 6001 0070 0946 4157 06'));
// => 'DE78600100700946415706'

In case the IBAN can not be parsed you will receive an error.

Running the build

This module can be built using Grunt. Besides running the tests, this also analyses the code. To run Grunt, go to the folder where you have installed canonicalize-iban and run grunt. You need to have grunt-cli installed.

$ grunt
