#Bess

'good-enough' alternative to JQuery

Replacing JQuery with the lightweight combo of Bonzo, Bean and Ess

Purposefully uses commonJS so it can be included using browserify or webpack. I've bundled a modified version of ess.js, since it's not available on npm and it was more convenient to use it as a commonJS module.

#Install npm install bess

#Usage

import $ from 'bess';

$('.btn').on('click', () => { console.log('%c It works!', 'font-weight:bold; font-size: 32px; font-family:Times serif'); });

#Testing

Yeah, could do with some of those...

#Credits

James Barwell wrote ess.js (used for the selection engine) and most of the wrapper code for this module

Bonzo provides the DOM extensions

Bean provides the cross platform events api
