Lotide
A mini clone of the Lodash library.
Purpose
BEWARE: This library was published for learning purposes. It is not intended for use in production-grade software.
This project was created and published by me as part of my learnings at Lighthouse Labs.
Usage
Install it:
npm install @pgupta-98/lotide
Require it:
const _ = require('@pgupta-98/lotide');
Call it:
const results = _.tail([1, 2, 3]) // => [2, 3]

The following functions are currently implemented:

assertArraysEqual(array1, array2)
: checks equality of two arrays -
assertEqual(actual, expected)
: checks if two inputs are equal -
assertObjectsEqual(actual, expected)
: uses eqObjects to assert equlaity -
countLetters(string)
: counts the occurance of each letter in a string -
countOnly(array, object)
: counts the occurance of each value in an array -
eqArrays(array1, array2)
: checks equality of length of two arrays -
eqObjects(object1, object2)
: checks equality of two objects -
findKey(object, callback)
: finds an object key according to criteria specified -
findKeyByValue(object, value)
: finds an object key by value specified -
head(array)
: returns first element of an array -
letterPositions(string)
: returns indices of the letter positions of a string in an array -
map(array, callback)
: returns an array acccording to callback function -
middle(array)
: returns the middle element/s of an array -
tail(array)
: returns all elements of an array except the first element -
takeUntil(array, callback)
: returns an array until the callback condition is true -
without(array1, array2)
: removes items in array2 from array1 and returns a new array
