How to install?

You need to have Node.js installed on your system before you can use this package. Get it here: Node.js

Once you have Node.js and NPM setup, the installation is as simple as running a command.

Linux/Mac

sudo npm install -g type-racer-bot

Windows

Within a command prompt window with administrative privileges:

npm install -g type-racer-bot

How to use?

Type the following command to start an instance:

type-racer-bot

It will open up http://play.typeracer.com/ in a window of Google Chrome browser. Start a race and take your hands of the keyboard, the bot will take care of the rest.
