spi.js

A Front-End Web Application Framework for Node.js/Express Projects

$ npm install spi

Before initializing spi.js, you need to give it some information, using the spi.config method. This will tell spi.js where you are keeping your views and script modules. You can chain the spi.init() method after this function call, passing it the your ExpressJS "app" object.

var express = require('express')
  , app = express.createServer()
  , spi = require('spi');

spi.config({
    views : __dirname + '/spi_views'
}).init(app);
