With this module, one can convert back and forth between numeric number forms and the equivalent string representations.

Install

npm install number-strings

Usage

var numberStrings = require('number-strings')
 
assert.equal(numberStrings.parse('four thousand ninety six'), 4096)
assert.equal(numberStrings.stringify(8192), 'eight thousand one hundred ninety two')
assert.equal(numberStrings.parse('fourteen trillion seven hundred million twelve thousand sixty four'), 14000700012064)

Number strings to parse can contain words separated by whitespace or dashes and can include , or and in appropriate places.
