nodeshark

Wrapper around libwireshark providing network packet dissection for node.js.

Installation

$ npm install nodeshark

Build linux

$ svn co http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk/ wireshark
cd wireshark
$ ./autogen.sh
$ ./configure
$ make
$ sudo make install
export WIRESHARK_INCLUDE_DIR=[wireshark source directory]
$ node-waf configure build

Build OSX

$ svn co http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk/ wireshark
cd wireshark
$ ./macosx-setup.sh
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig:/usr/X11/lib/pkgconfig
$ ./autogen.sh
$ ./configure
$ make -j 3
$ sudo make install
