gpslogger -o ./output_dir/ -b 57600 /dev/tty.GNS1000-GPS
 
# Usage: gpslogger [-v | --verbose] [-o | --output <output_dir>] <serial port address>
# Example: gpslogger -o ./output /dev/tty.GNS1000
# Hint: on most POSIX systems, you can get a list of connected serial devices by running: ls /dev/tty*
