is-cacheable

Check whether or not a HTTP response is cacheable based in its headers.

Usage

var isCacheable = require('is-cacheable')
var request = require('request')
 
request('http://example.com', function (err, res, body) {
  console.log('Is response cacheable?', isCacheable(res.headers))
})
