harcon-zero

Harcon-Zero is a ZeroMQ plugin for harcon.

It allows you to use the ZeroMQ as transport layer without loosing any feature provided by the harcon microservice library which is transport-agnostic by design.

Installation

$ npm install harcon-zero

Quick setup

var Inflicter = require('harcon');
var Zero = require('harcon-zero');
....
var inflicter = new Inflicter( { Barrel: Zero.Barrel, barrel: { subscribeName: 'ZeroPubSubChannelName', connectURL: 'tcp://127.0.0.1:3000' }, ... } );

It is that simple. All you have to do is require the Zero extension and pass it to the Inflicter function with the name Barrel. Of course, you will need to configure the connectivity of the zeromq. The harcon's standard barrel configuration method must be used as usual by passing an object with the key barrel.

The default pub-sub channel is identified by the harcon itself with its own name which default value is 'Inflicter'.
