Welcome to Hangman
Hangman is a word guess command-line game. It is inspired by the classic word game in which you must guess as many secret words as you can before time runs out! Challenge your friends and learn new words.
Getting Started
This game requires Node.js in order to be played. Make sure Node exists on your computer! To download the npm package, run the following command in your terminal
sudo npm install hangman-app -g
Commands
Once you download the hangman-app package enter the commands listed in the example below to look up info. Once user enters hangman in command line and hits enter, user can start playing the game.
User can start guessing letters by typing a single letter at a time (case insensitive). Try to guess the word before you run out of guesses!
After each guess user is alerted whether the guess is correct or wrong and the number of guesses that remain.
Once the user completes the game, user can choose to continue to play or exit by typing y or n. Use screenshots below as reference
