gulp-fatejs

Fate Gulp Plugin

Fate is a programming language that targets the V8 JavaScript JVM. It is a mostly functional language that provides first-class patterns, invocation guards, list comprehensions, flexible function application, and awesome concurrency.

And this is a Gulp Plugin for compiling it.

How to Install and Use

npm install gulp-fatejs --save-dev

Then use it in your gulpfile.js, like so:

var fatejs = require('gulp-fatejs');
 
var gulp = require('gulp');
var beautify = require('gulp-beautify');
var rename = require('gulp-rename');
 
var fateFiles = ['src/**/*.fate'];
var destDir = './dest';
 
gulp.task('compile', function () {
  return gulp.src(fateFiles)
             .pipe(fatejs())
             .pipe(beautify({ indentSize: 2 }))
             .pipe(rename(function (path) {
                path.extname = ".js";
              }))
             .pipe(gulp.dest(destDir));
});
 
gulp.task('default', ['compile']);
