grunt-bower-update v0.1.2

Update versions of bower.json dependencies interactively (or not)

Getting Started

This plugin requires Grunt ~0.4.0

If you haven't used Grunt before, be sure to check out the Getting Started guide, as it explains how to create a Gruntfile as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:

npm install grunt-bower-update --save-dev

Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:

grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-bower-update');

Bower-update task

Run this task with the grunt bower-update command.

This task allows You to pick up dependencies from your bower.json file & look up for an updated version for each package. As a result, only bower.json file would be modified. To actually install new versions you should run then bower install.

By default, this task is interactive. You would be asked to pick dependencies You want to check. And then for every updated dependency You would be able to select if newer version should be stored. But see below for possible options, so you can make this task non-interactive.

Also note that running grunt with the --verbose flag will output some extra information.
