About this package
This NPM package is constructed as a generator to quickly create various flavors of a Node.js application for enterprise deployment or a quick proof-of-concept. This package uses the Yeoman scaffolding system to offer choices with framework or dependencies. Another core intent is to include proper configuration to deploy within a Acquia Node.js hosting platform.
Installation & Execution
- Navigate to a designated directory for your application
- Install Yeoman globally:
npm install -g yo - Install the package generator:
npm install -g generator-js-acquia-ps - Run the application generator:
yo js-acquia-ps
Once the installation has completed, a JavaScript application will be available to run locally and deploy to production. Details around the build steps, configuration, and features will be noted in the README.md file for review.
