Getting Started

npm install -g yo

Yeoman Generators

Yeoman travels light. He didn't pack any generators when he moved in. You can think of a generator like a plug-in. You get to choose what type of application you wish to create, such as a Backbone application or even a Chrome extension.

To install generator-angular-neat from npm, run:

npm install -g generator-angular-neat

Finally, initiate the generator:

yo angular-neat

AngularNeat

AngularNeat is essentially a copy of the generator-angular, but with a few minor differences.

• Less commenting cruft
• A build directory
• Unit test coverage reporting

Build Directory

Grunt is a great task runner, but for larger projects Gruntfiles can sometimes become unruly. To mitigate this I like to break out the configs into their own little node modules. This helps not only reduce the size of your Gruntfile, but it also limits the responsibility of the Gruntfile to just creating tasks.
