Information
This is a cordova plugin to use the Laser Barcode Scanner of Panasonic handhelds. Suported and tested devices:
- A Panasonic toughpad FZ-F1 running the Universal Windows Platform (Windows 10)
- A Panasonic toughpad FZ-X1 running Android 4.2.2
How to use
Activate the scanner and pass the success and error callback functions:
cordova.plugins.PanasonicScanner.activate({}, function(result) {
// each scan will trigger this callback function
}, function(error) {
// catch error on activation
});
On windows you'll need to add this to your project:
document.addEventListener("resume",this.activatePanasonicScanner, false);
Assuming that "activatePanasonicScanner" is the function where you activate the scanner.
