channel-latency

Latency middleware for channel.

Events emitted in one side of the channel are delayed by the specified amount of miliseconds before firing on the other side.

Useful for simulating network latency locally.

var latency = require('channel-latency');
var chan = channel();
chan.use(latency(500));

Installation

Install with component(1):

$ component install component/channel-latency

API

latency(time)

create a latency middleware with time ms of latency

latency(minTime, maxTime)

create a latency middleware with random latency, between minTime and maxTime ms.
