Usage

var Class = require('cakes').Class;

// Defind a Preson class
var Preson = Class({
    __construct: function(name, age, gender) {
        this.name = name;
        this.age = age;
        this.gender = gender;
    },

    getName: function() {
        return this.name;
    }
});

// Defind a Man class, and inherits Preson
var Man = Class({

    __construct: function(name, age) {
        // invoke __construct function of super class
        this.parent('__construct', name, age, 'male');
    },

    intro: function() {
        // invoke getName method
        console.log('My name is ' + this.getName());
    }

}, Preson);

var m = new Man('Emilly', 18);

m.intro(); // My name is Emilly

console.log(m); // { name: 'Emilly', age: 18, gender: 'male' }

__construct

If you create a __construct() function (it is your choice,), it will automatically call the __construct() method/function when you create an object from your class. This feature like as PHP __construct().

parent

You may find yourself writing code that refers to variables and functions in base classes, this is particularly true if you want to make your code DRY.Now, you should be using the special name parent which refers to the name of your base class as given in Class function as the second argument.You can use the parent method as follow:

// parent(methodName, args...)
// after the name of method, others arguments will be passed into method

this.parent('__construct', name)

extend

extend method From jQuery.

var extend = require('cakes').extend;

inherits

inherits method From Node.js.

// inherits = require('util').inherits;
var inherits = require('cakes').inherits;
