assetmgmt

This library that concatonates files and makes them read for production while you are developing. First you make a yaml file at config/assets.yml and put some info like this into it.

javascripts:
  application:
    - app/assets/javascripts/jquery.js
    - app/assets/javascripts/json2.js
    - app/assets/javascripts/underscore.js
    - app/assets/javascripts/knockout.js
    - app/assets/javascripts/base.js

stylesheets:
  application:
    - app/assets/stylesheets/normalize.css
    - app/assets/stylesheets/base.css
    - app/assets/stylesheets/bootstrap.css
    - app/assets/stylesheets/bootstrap-theme.css

As you develop it will concatonate and minify your changes as you make them. There will be helpers for each of the groups of files in the res.locals. For example, if you need the tag for the application javascript group, it is at res.locals.js.application.
