    WedgeKit Primitives

    Primitives are the building blocks of WedgeKit components. They are largely settings or wrapper components designed for keeping all WedgeKit components consistent in a composable and discoverable way.

    Usage

    yarn add @wedgekit/primitives

    Base primitives like Row and Gutter should largely be avoided outside of building WedgeKit components, while Layout should be used for wider grid usage.

    Gutter

    Gutter provides a consistent row gutter for elements and should wrap all base WedgeKit components.

    const Button = () => (
      <Gutter>
        <button>Click Me</button>
      </Gutter>
    );

    Row

    Row provides a consistent column gutter for elements and can wrap a composition of base WedgeKit components.

    const Notification = () => (
      <Row>
        <Input />
        <Button>Send</Button>
      </Row>
    );

    Settings

    The default export for @wedgekit/primitives is the primitive settings. At this time the only exported variable is base.
