$ yarn add @tunnckocore/babel-preset
By default this preset is just a mirror of babel-preset-optimise, inheriting its options.
For example, in case you use Jest for testing you can do something like the
moduleexports =processenvNODE_ENV === 'test'? presets: '@tunnckocore/babel-preset' modules: true: processenvNODE_ENV === 'build-esm'? presets: '@tunnckocore/babel-preset': presets: '@tunnckocore/babel-preset' modules: 'commonjs' ;
Which will mean that it will a) convert ESM to CJS modules in testing
environment, b) do not convert ES Modules on
build-esm env, and c) same as 1
in other cases.
Passing non falsey (true or whatever, e.g.
'commonjs') value to
option means it will convert ESM to CJS.
