Quick start

First, install the build from npm:

npm install --save @shovonchoudhury/ckeditor5-build-standard

And use it in your website:

<div id="editor">
	<p>This is the editor content.</p>
</div>
<script src="./node_modules/@shovonchoudhury/ckeditor5-build-standard/build/ckeditor.js"></script>
<script>
	ClassicEditor
		.create( document.querySelector( '#editor' ) )
		.then( editor => {
			window.editor = editor;
		} )
		.catch( error => {
			console.error( 'There was a problem initializing the editor.', error );
		} );
</script>

Or in your JavaScript application:

import ClassicEditor from '@shovonchoudhury/ckeditor5-build-standard';

// Or using the CommonJS version:
// const ClassicEditor = require( '@ckeditor/ckeditor5-build-classic' );

ClassicEditor
	.create( document.querySelector( '#editor' ) )
	.then( editor => {
		window.editor = editor;
	} )
	.catch( error => {
		console.error( 'There was a problem initializing the editor.', error );
	} );
