How to use this repo

polaris.shopify.com quick start guide

Make sure Git and Node.js are installed on your computer then run the following commands to get started:

$ git clone https://github.com/Shopify/polaris.git    # git clone repository
$ cd polaris                                          # access the files
$ npm install                                         # install dependencies
$ npm run dev                                         # run polars.shopify.com locally

Technical details

As we continue to iterate and evolve, these technologies are subject to change. Currently, polaris.shopify.com is built using the following technologies:

• Sprinkles, a CSS framework for vanilla-extract
• vanilla-extract, a CSS-in-JS library
• ViteJS, a frontend build tool
