Api

toArray() iterates source, adds each item to an array and returns the array when the source() iterator completes.

Example

example.js

const toArray = require('@async-generators/to-array').default;

async function main() {

  let source = async function* () {
    yield 1; yield 2; yield 3; yield 4;
  }

  let result = await toArray(source());

  console.log(result);
}

main();

Execute with the latest node.js:

node --harmony-async-iteration example.js

output:

[ 1, 2, 3, 4 ]
