Job Description

Help npm's sales team efficiently deliver the company's compelling value proposition to its massive, global potential customer base. Work in partnership with npm's Account Executives and Executive team to provide technical expertise during the entire sales process. In your role as Sales Solutions Architect you will utilize your deep understanding of the JavaScript development workflow, npm open source tools and competitor offerings to differentiate the npm portfolio of products for potential customers to drive revenue. You will also act as an integral feedback conduit to the product management team. This role is primarily focused on the United States and Canada.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Working with npm's sales team, evangelize our technology to customers and partners.

  • Engage with npm's product engineering teams to help guide the product roadmap and innovate based on customer insight and feedback, as well as personal experience

  • Demonstrate our solutions to potential customers on sales calls

  • Become an active member of the JavaScript community, championing the use-cases of our Enterprise customers

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of enterprise computing experience, including an understanding of common enterprise computing challenges

  • Understanding of the JavaScript experience and how it relates to the enterprise

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship development skills, including the ability to meet with and present to C-level executives

  • Knowledge of the open source market

  • Ability to work persistently to meet customer requirements

  • Motivation to achieve business objectives and goals
